If Leo gets an Oscar nom for the shitastic show that was J. Edgar, it will only be because he wasn't given one for Catch Me If You Can (or arguably Shutter Island– both of which were great performances in stark contrast to a so-so performance as old man Edgar). Same goes for The Beard and Tintin… or maybe War Horse. I haven't seen War Horse but Tintin did not aim to please. The Academy… never tired of getting it wrong!
