I like a lot her films- everybody always trashes her- why would a dramatic actor, an, OSCAR winner, do an action film- A GIRL no less- she broke a lot of ground. Now other "fancy" actors (inc men) all TRY to do it. Angelina was the youngest winner ever of the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award (another Oscar), has all the other awards, and millions in the bank (even after giving away tons of money). Unlike so many of these needy, shifty stars, Angelina doesn\’t spend millions a year on her liars & spin doctors,she actually found better things to do with her money. Her box office is way more respectable than most women and a lot men, especially considering how little (by choice) she\’s worked. Her filmography you mock is far more impressive a majority of the actors out there, so, yes, she deserves a happy birthday. She\’s accomplished way more than most in a very short time- I look forward to seeing what she does in the next 40 years.

Agree pretty much. Perhaps that "experimental" film that she and Pitt are going to star in together and that she may direct can finally break this sad cycle. BTW, I recall at one point they were trying to get Aronofsky for Maleficent but he was committed to do Noah — what if…
