You indiewire hipsters are way too high on your own supply. This was one of the weakest years at Sundance in the fests history. None of these movies are star makers, and I would bet none of them will be major awards contenders in 2016, despite the occasional presence of decent talent. It was a sad, tired festival with very little buzz.
