It gets better with every viewing. The first time around, I found my interest waining after episode 1 but it immediately picks up (this isn\’t the first show ever to have this problem) and pulls you in and you fall in love. If, by the end of episode 3, someone doesn\’t love this show, then they need to have themselves checked for a pulse.

I thought the same thing as you even with the first ep, but its true colors come around the 3rd, 4th ep and only gets better. It\’s not going for edgy, much darker concerns on its mind than just trying to be that.

I watched the series trailer before it "aired" and I found it trying too hard to be the new, edgy animated series in an already oversaturated market of edgy animation. The jokes were really flat too. I might try one episode based on this review. We shall see.
