I'll be more excited for this if I hear that they're truly taking a new approach to telling this story. The idea Sorkin explained for his screenplay structure is awesome. If they keep that, this could be great.

TSN is one of my all-time favorites, but I'm not interested in the same thing again. I don't want Fincher to go the way of Tim Burton – making the typical Fincher movie every time (as so sagely put by Oli on Twitter).

Fincher is more involved in House of Cards than you think. His executive producer title on season 2 wasn't just a title. He is very particular and oversees everything, even down to the marketing.

Hmmm….Read the book…and if they manage to capture it in any way possible and come out better for it, regardless of the style utilized…it would simply be monumental film making….

…So looking forward to another Fincher Masterpiece!
