I will admit it feels as though the Angry Birds brand is past its prime but then again, that didn\’t stop the last SpongeBob movie from opening to 55 mil and making 165 mil so far. And let\’s consider 185 mil sounds high but most studios don\’t release their marketing budget, just the production one, and that is only 85 mil. SpongeBob cost 74 mil. Also, I think this film is due seeing that other animated bird movies like Rio and Free Birds have done wel, and this should be like the Titanic of animated bird movies. The Angry Bird toons sold well and those were only cheaply animated shorts with no talking. This sounds like they are spring no expense. And the 3D should be great. I don\’t have any worries for the film.
