I heard that C.K. turned it down because he didn't want to be away from New York for so long as being a father comes before work for him. Any validity to this?

Also, if Payne ever gets around to doing Daniel Clowes' "Wilson", I say he should shoot in New York and do ALL he can to get C.K. in that role. It's perfect for him.
