No other performance from last year (aside from Viola Davis's work in The Help) affected me like Theron's. It takes a gifted actor to take a dispicable character and make you feel disgust, anger, sympathy, empathy and sadness for her all at the same time. She literally brought life to a character that stayed with me long after the credits rolled.

Yelchin, and Jones characters both seemed more indecisive and flaky then ever really in love with each other like the advertsising for the film suggested. It was a good performance, but not the equal of any of the actresses who got nominated in my opinion.
