I\’ve posted 15 Israeli films to look out for in 2015 om my film blog, Cinemascope, some of them could augment your list, such as "A Tale of Love and Darkness", Natalie Portman\’s Hebrew speaking directorial debut, shot in Jerusalem (Cannes? Toronto?); Joseph Cedar is shooting his newest film in February, an American-Israeli coproduction, shooting in NYC and Jerusalem, produced by Oren Moverman and starring Richard Gere and Lior Ashkenazi; Hagar Ben Asher is shooting her follow up to "The Slut"; Dror Shaul, who won the Sundance International Feature award ten years ago with Sweet Mud, is prepping a comedy called "Atomic Felafel"; And we probably have a sure-fire Cannes competition title in "Our Future", the feature debut of Elad Keidan, a 2008 Cinefondation winner.

COSMOS is one of my favorite novels. I\’m surprised it took this long for the 1965 book to get published. I always thought Zanussi or Wajda would eventually tackle it, but Andrzej Żuławski is an inspired choice. If he controls himself a bit, it will be a perfect fit. If not, well… we have a crazy novel turned into an even crazier film.
