So, it seems I was right, based on the first reactions, Dehaan completely outshined him LOL. "Dehaan nails, Pattinson works".

Apparently the movie has an early word since its first test screening, probably just another Pattinson\’s flop hum, at least Dehaan will be able to walk away from this mess with some raves.

Kristen Stewart fans are so petty and insecure, it\’s pathetic. If they had any confidence in their idol they wouldn\’t be trying to diminish Pattinson\’s accomplishments. And no, not everyone would agree that Dehann is a much better actor. Only Stewart fans with an agenda are busy trying to trash Pattinson. Too bad they just can\’t move on and accept that his career is thriving. He\’s the one with 2 premieres at Berlin and 2 films to make this year, he\’s not the one who\’s unemployed with no prospects, is he?

He does in fact work with respected directors, but sadly, only in movies that don\’t get much acclaim (over 80% on RT). Dehaan will be lucky to keep up with him?! LOL, what a joke, Dehaan is a MUCH better actor, everybody would agree with that (except Twihards, of course).

It didn\’t have the score yet, it was a work print and needed some editing and finishing touches, but the acting was good and the story is compelling. Can\’t wait to see the finished product.

Pattinson has 5 Best Supporting Actor nominations for his performances in The Rover and MTTS, he\’s working with the best directors in the business and he has the respect and admiration of the industry and his peers. He wasn\’t playing "retarded," which is considered a slur to begin with, and just a stupid comment overall. Dehaan will be lucky to keep up with him in Life. He sets the bar very high. And Pattinson had enough charisma to ensure that his last three films all premiered at Cannes to good reviews, and are all fresh on RT.

It\’s the opposite with someone like Julianne Moore, critics talk as if she has never made a bad movie in her life (*ahem*).
