"they" is just one person, IM. paul maher runs the site and he\’s written a book or two on malick that may be worth looking up. he has his inside sources. funny thing, he really dislikes these indiewire and playlist sites due to previous blogs not giving him credit for breaking malick-related news. i guess these sites learned their lesson b/c kevin and co. give him due credit for this one.

Mr. T, that dude likes no one because thinks he owns Malick. Do a quick scan of Malick-related articles around hte web and you\’ll see PMJR there, trumpeting something he already wrote or already once said to the point of it.. it\’s frightening.

He even scared off his producers. His interviews are with like coffee errand boys and boom people. Don\’t put too much stock into it.

C, i think they filmed the two films back to back as a cost effective way to keep the crew together throughout the shoot as well as during post.

indie films often have a difficult time finding distribution. these are all just business decisions and sometimes the hang-ups are never really divulged. releasing two Malick films in one year may not be a sound business decision profit-wise. i would love to see them both in that time-frame but i doubt that\’ll be the case here.
