While I have not seen the movie and therefore cannot comment on it, the experience seems to mirror that of my wife, who was also in Mumbai at the time of the attacks and who was kept hidden and safe by the staff of the hotel she was staying in. Her experience is no less compelling, no less human because of her Western origins or the colour of her skin. While stories about rich white people caught up in world events can seem overtly racist, a la The Impossible, this event simply cannot be lumped in with natural disaster type films. It is not thoughtless or ignorant to show westerners\' struggle considering western persons were explicitly targeted. That\'s how terrorism works, the widest biggest possible platform for the proliferation of their message and intent. It seems ignorant to ignore that fact. This is not the only film/tv series to cover the subject matter, western or Indian. It seems like an intimate story and taking it to task for it\'s focus on white people may be noble, but is beside the point. I can vouch for focus of this story being no less real or worthy of telling.

I just sat through this painfully boring and substanceless film. How the TFF directors selected this film for their lineup is beyond me.
A C- score is generous.
