Yeah well-written, insightul review. Having seen this at last year's New York Film Festival, I was left feeling restless and incomplete due to the intimate life-changing stakes laid out at the film's climax. I had hoped for a little more flushing out but the Fanning blood kept it grounded and humming. I can only hope that a separate companion parallel-time film with the Platt, Spall and Bening characters – say THE TWO MARKS – could also exist. There truthful yet upbeat candor nicely countered Ginger's weighted family life (and the film's nuclear-threat context).

Will definitley be keeping an eye on Elle Fanning to see if she can make a rise like Chloe Moretz from here on out and rival her as the pre-eminent female adolescent star of her generation. Looks to be another Natalie Portman-Juliette Lewis type situation with both girls fighting it out for the best roles in their age group.

Yes this is awesome news I love Elle and have been looking forward to this one for a long time. Elle is easily the best actress of her generation and seems to have a major talent for picking interesting roles as well

Yur review of the film is much more complimentary than the other reviews I've seen. Although all the reviews agree that Fanning's performance is excellent and the standout.
