This was made for comic con as an introduction to the panel. Its Sam Jackson speaking an iconic line from the books over a a very nice looking animation. They didn't HAVE to release this. They did because they new all the fans who didn;t go to comic con wanted to see it.

If anything, this teaser is 10000x better than the first The Dark Knight teaser.
