Disney’s plan to dominate the pop culture world with Marvel on every platform continues with the looming opening of their streaming platform Disney+ expected to open at the end of this year. And it looks like those rumors that the purported Scarlet Witch limited series actually being a two-hander Vision and Scarlet Witch show are true. THR reports tonight that Marvel has hired “Captain Marvel” writer Jac Schaeffer to act as showrunner on the series.

This year’s San Sebastian International Film Festival announced their first wave of films and it looks like the 66th anniversary of the fest is going to be pretty great. Leading the way, we have the long-awaited films from Claire Denis, Naomi Kawase, and Kim Jee-woon.

Perhaps most exciting is the news that Denis’ latest film “High Life” will be making an appearance at the fest and will compete with the coveted Golden Shell.

Sadly, if you live in the United States and want to watch the films by Japanese director Naomi Kawase, you have to do a bit of hunting. The filmmaker, who is no stranger to Cannes and other film festivals, rarely has her films make it to the States with any sort of fanfare or official release. Hopefully, that will change with her new film, “Vision,” because after seeing the new 30-second teaser trailer, we are dying to lay our eyes on it!
