The biggest obstacle to the merger, <strong>Les Moonves</strong>, collapsed under a scandal of his own making.  Redstone&#8217;s now 96-year-old father, <strong>Sumner</strong>, battling the effects of Father Time, couldn&#8217;t stop it either.  </p>
