Following their last successful American political show, “The Comey Rule,” Showtime is looking to make a limited series about another big and timely news topic with the same creators. This time they’ll be moving forward with a project about the deadly insurrection at the U.S. Capital back on January 6.

According to Deadline, Showtime is again collaborating with writer/director Billy Ray (“Shattered Glass“) and writer Shane Salerno on the project that will focus on multiple perspectives about the attack and the Trump Administration’s final days.
