If you live outside of Iceland, it’s likely you’re not familiar with the crime thriller series “Trapped.” The Icelandic series, which debuted in 2015, has been a huge hit for the country and has found its way in other territories over the years. However, for many reading this now, you’ll likely want to track the series down once you learn about who composed the music.

In honor of Milan Records releasing the official soundtrack of “Trapped” later this month, we are pleased to have two exclusive tracks from the release, one of which was co-written by none other than the late Jóhann Jóhannsson.

We’re deep into the week before Christmas and still cutting a swath through our Best/Worst/It’s Complicated Year-End coverage, most of which we hope you’ve all read and enjoyed, or at least been engaged by (it’s okay, you can disagree).
