Disney’s penchant for grabbing existing IP from the shelf and dusting it off for a new audience is happening yet again with “Willow.” The 1988 film drew a cult following over the decades for its fun performances from stars Warwick Davis and Val Kilmer. Unfortunately, a sequel never came to fruition. But with Disney+, the studio is willing to greenlight anything with franchise potential, so we’re getting a brand-new “Willow” sequel series.

Your mood can be ever-changing and little things can suddenly take you from content to depressed. Well “The Sound Of Silence” takes sound and scientist Peter Lucian (Peter Sarsgaard who has starred in “An Education” and “Green Lantern”) calibrates the home to help adjust moods.

This project is the directorial debut of Michael Tyburski (“Palimpsest”), and is based on the short film written by Ben Nabors who served as producer on Tyburski’s Palimpsest.

Filmmakers often draw their inspiration and ideas from where their movies are set. For Hannah Fidell, it’s the American Southwest. Her previous films have been more serious in tone but in her latest, “The Long Dumb Road,” Fidell chose to focus on the fun and lightness of the setting. “I’ve shot all of the movies I’ve made in the southwest. There’s just something really iconic about it. That’s what we think about when we think about the ‘great American road trip.’” Check out the official synopsis below:
