The fourth and final season of “Snowpiercer” has finally found a savior. Deadline reports that the series has a new home after Warner Bros. Company decided not to air the show’s completed Season 4 on TNT in one of its recent cost-cutting moves.  AMC now has the rights to all four seasons of the post-apocalyptic drama and will premiere the show’s last batch of new episodes in early 2025.

Having said that, it still succumbs to a serious midseason sag in terms of momentum and increasingly feels like a transitional piece of the track in terms of the entire arc of this show, playing with themes that it won’t really be exploring until a third or maybe even fourth season.

Showrunners and writers came and went and then the series got punted to TBS—an odd decision—and then finally punted back to TNT and I guess everything’s fine now cause the show now hits the cable channel on May 31, and a new trailer and poster have arrived.

Upon watching the incredible Bong Joon-ho film, “Snowpiercer,” it’s hard not to lose complete faith in humanity and just wish the world would explode so that you never have to find yourself in a perpetual train loop where you may or may not have to check your food for bits of human. And it appears that art mimics reality from time to time, especially in the case of the forthcoming “Snowpiercer” TV series, as the as-yet-unreleased show has gone around one big, painstaking loop to arrive back where it all began, and we’re not sure if it is even worth it.
