Relatively speaking, A24 is still a young studio. It doesn’t have the history of a Disney, Universal, or Paramount. It also isn’t known for films that break the bank. However, that is changing a little, as the studio has two films seemingly coming in 2025 that will be the most expensive in the studio’s history.

According to a report from Deadline, A24’s “Marty Supreme” and “The Smashing Machine” both carry $70 million budgets, which is, by far, the largest in the history of the studio.

A “Jungle Cruise” reunion is in the works, and, no, it’s not “Jungle Cruise 2.” Instead, Variety reports that the co-leads of the Disney film may reunite for Benny Safdie‘s MMA biopic “The Smashing Machine,” with Emily Blunt in final talks to join the picture.  Dwayne Johnson was already aboard the project, Safdie’s solo directorial debut about MMA and UFC champion Mark Kerr.
