And it looks like the premium network is kicking off 2020 with a bang, thanks to the return of Jude Law’s ‘Young Pope’ in a new series titled “The New Pope.”

As seen in the trailer for “The New Pope,” Law is back as Pope Pius XIII, but after the events of last season, the character has to retake his title as leader of the Catholic Church.

The series was critically acclaimed, with Law earning a Golden Globe nomination for his performance. However, it wasn’t supposed to continue on. Alas, it has, and now the world is about to be introduced to “The New Pope.”
