Former Limp Bizkit front man, Fred Durst’s new inspirational sports film based on a true story, “The Longshots” ended up in eighth place, but the real limp biscuit this weekend was the rock and roll comedy, “The Rocker.” The Rainn Wilson vehicle opened in 2784 theaters to a shameful $2,750,000 not even breaking the top 10 in 12th place.

Despite, mediocre reviews, “The Foot Fist Way” star Danny McBride and the whole, “he’s the greatest comedian since slice bread” story keep on being regurgitated.

Palmer plays an 11 year old who leads her to team to victory in the Pop Warner Football tournament and it’s based on…wait for it, a true story. This is Durst’s second directorial effort, the first was, “The Education of Charlie Banks” that still hasn’t gotten a proper release outside of showing at last year’s Tribeca film festival.
