And so, with the news that this week sees the 25th anniversary of <strong>Clint Eastwood</strong>&#8216;s &#8220;<strong>Unforgiven</strong>,&#8221; the last &#8220;true&#8221; Western (as opposed to the <strong>Coens</strong>&#8216; neo-take &#8220;<strong>No Country For Old Men</strong>&#8220;) to win Best Picture and still the best film of Eastwood&#8217;s directorial career, we thought, shucks, let&#8217;s pull the trigger.</p>

<p>The caffeinated director is like the boy who cried wolf and has been threatening to make this picture for almost ten years now (along with other projects that&#8217;ll likely never happen like &#8220;The Vega Brothers&#8221; and &#8220;Kill Bill&#8221; se/prequels) so no one really believes him.</p>
