Sometimes films totally fly under the radar until they’re marketed to the public, and that’s arguably precisely what’s happened to “One Of Them Days,” a new Sony comedy starring Keke Palmer and musician SZA in her acting debut, though it’s likely that it underwent a title change from when first announced.

The film is a buddy comedy centering on two friends trying to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact under these difficult circumstances.

One of the last big mysteries of the 91st Oscars has finally been revealed.  After weeks of trying to convince him to participate, Kendrick Lamar and SZA will not perform the Best Original Song nominated “All the Stars” from Best Picture nominee “Black Panther” on the telecast this Sunday.  Moreover, no other artist will perform the song in their place.  It’s yet another disappointing piece of news for an Oscars ceremony that increasingly seems cursed…?

The Recording Academy announced the nominations for February’s 2019 Grammy Awards and while Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Ariana Grande fans were outraged their favorites didn’t earn “key” nominations there was genuine surprise at two of the players that did. Two players that also have major stakes at the 91st Academy Awards later that month.

“A Star is Born’s” “Shallow,” performed by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, earned nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Song Written for Visual Media.
