After spending the last couple of months hearing Dominic Cooper do a pretty damn good Texas drawl on the AMC series “Preacher,” it’s a bit disorienting to hear him go back to his native British tongue. So it might take a moment of adjustment as you sit back to see the actor jump into action in the trailer for “Stratton.”

Co-starring Gemma Chan, Austin Stowell, Tyler Hoechlin, Tom Felton, Thomas Kretschmann, Derek Jacobi, Connie Nielsen, and Jake Fairbrother, and directed by Simon West (“Con Air,” “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,” “The Mechanic“), the adaptation of the book by Duncan Falconer, the story follows an MI6 agent — who specializes in boats (!?) — who is tasked with taking down some terrorist type bad dudes.
