Kanye West is a lot of things. He’s a multiplatinum-selling rapper. He’s a major clothing designer. Hell, Kanye West is even a Presidential candidate. But what you may not realize is that West is also a huge fan of the “Star Wars” Prequel Trilogy.

Recently, as a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience, West went on a rant about the “Star Wars” franchise. He started by warning he was about to get mad discussing it (as is typical of the “Star Wars” fans), but West had to explain why he’s such a fan of George Lucas’ prequel films, especially when compared to the recent sequels released by Disney after the company bought Lucasfilm.

When Zack Snyder announced that his cut of “Justice League” is getting an HBO Max release in 2021, fans rejoiced. This proved that studios listened to the demands of people on Twitter, as they used #ReleaseTheSnyderCut for more than two years to show their support for the filmmaker. At the time, some worried that fandom would lose its mind, drunk with power, and start to demand other studios release unseen Director’s Cuts of films.
