Back in 2012, a documentary was released titled “The Woman Who Wasn’t There.” The film follows the true story of a woman who became one of the most outspoken survivors of 9/11. However, it was eventually revealed that she actually wasn’t there during the terrorist attack. That basic premise carries over in the upcoming dark comedy film, “Not Okay.”

As seen in the teaser for “Not Okay,” the film tells the story of an aspiring influencer who has the idea to pretend she was in Paris during a terrorist attack to raise her social media clout.
