Until then, starting a family had always seemed like the natural culmination of a series of personal and professional journeys. But when faced with the prospect of a “geriatric pregnancy” and all the complications and difficulties that process incurs, we had to make a decision (we did), and we had to be sure (we were). Those memories fluttered to the surface throughout “Clock,” the debut horror film from actor and filmmaker Alexis Jacknow.

Remember Lee Donowitz (the awesome Saul Rubinek) in “True Romance”? The slimy Hollywood film producer of the fictional Vietnam war film, “Coming Home In A Body Bag”?

According to a Q&A last night with Quentin Tarantino in Austin, Texas, post-“Inglorious Basterds,” screening, Eli Roths’s character Sgt. Donny Donowitz is his father. Quentin obviously loves his universe character connections and you’re probably aware of many of them. This is just the latest.

We can probably tap out some more thoughts about the screening and Q&A later, but we gotta run and just wanted to get that out there.

Every year during the Toronto International Film Fest pre-season, a massive slate of new films are set to premiere and when that line-up hits, interesting soundtrack tie-ins are always revealed in the details.

Yesterday we discovered that Drew Barrymore’s rollerskate derby comedy “Whip it!” starring Ellen Page, was tapping the L.A. string players, The Section Quartet to compose its music. Today we uncover that Montreal Franchophone indie rockers Malajube are scoring the new Jay Baruchel film, “The Trotsky.”

What’s it about you ask?
