When you hear Seth Rogen’s unmistakable laugh, you probably wouldn’t necessarily find the similarities between the actor and Santa Claus. The former has more of a stoner-y giggle, while Santa is known for his more bass-y “ho, ho, ho.” Well, despite this difference, it appears Seth Rogen is getting the chance to embody the Christmas legend in the new HBO Max series, “Santa Inc.”

As seen in the trailer for “Santa Inc,” the story follows a female elf who is convinced she would be the best person to replace Santa when it comes time for the old man to call it quits.

Real-life man with an infectious laugh, Seth Rogen, is about to play a fictional (sorry, kids) man with a well-known, jolly laugh, Santa Claus, in a new adult animated series coming to HBO Max titled “Santa Inc.”

They do care very much about doing justice to their properties, and while “Wreck-It Ralph” doesn’t seem like an immediate candidate for a sequel, the number crunchers at the studio likely deemed it worthy, and indeed, it’s happening.
