Wedding season is right around the corner, which means making sure that suit still fits, and embarking on finding the perfect gift, and keeping your fingers crossed that there’s an open bar. However, if you’re free of having to attend wedded bliss, you can join Adam Sandler and Chris Rock in their latest, and probably pretty juvenile joint, “The Week Of.”

Directed by Robert Smigel, and co-starring Rachel Dratch, Steve Buscemi, Roland Buck III, and Allison Strong, the story follows two fathers of the bride and the wacky hijinks that ensue when their kids get married.

Oh Netflix, we don’t know what to think of you. On the one hand, you’re bankrolling films by Martin Scorsese and Charlie Kaufman, and bringing bold storytelling in documentaries, television and more to a global audience. But then, you’re also financing Adam Sandler‘s continued career of making cheap movies with his friends. In fairness, the Netflix audience is huge, but we still can’t help but be amazed at how shoddy these Sandler movies look.

First announced last fall, the weird premise is a romantic comedy that focuses on the titular twins, who will both be played by Sandler. We’re guessing that the twins don’t fall in love with each other, but hey, the project is being penned by Robert Smigel (“Saturday Night Live”), Steve Koren (“Click,” “Bruce Almighty”) and Sander himself, so you never know.

In one section of the film, Arabs trying to take down Zohan (Sander) call the “Hezbollah Phone Line” for instructions on how to build a bomb.
