It may not technically take place in the same television universe, but Bobby Axelrod from “Billions” could totally guest star on Showtime’s “Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber.” The new show from “Billions” masterminds Brian Koppelman and David Levien, adapted from the book by Mike Isaac, has similar propulsive energy. Once again taking place in the world of big business, it features characters who often thrive in what could politely be called a moral gray area, propelled by sharp, witting writing and captivating performances.

Filmmaker Dan Krauss, who is also a cinematographer joins the ranks of a few select directors this year in directing a version of a movie they’ve already made. Krauss directed the award-winning documentary “The Kill Team” in 2013. We reviewed it positively and everything. Now, he’s made the dramatic version of this story for A24 starring actors like Alexander Skarsgård and Natt Wolff. The film made its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year and now it finally has a trailer.

What’s old is new again. As is the case with so many new projects on TV, CBS is going back to the well to revive a prominent series. This time, the comedic drama “Northern Exposure” is now being developed for a revival series with the series’ star returning to tell more quirky stories from Alaska.

Unless you’re a person of a certain age, odds are you didn’t see “Northern Exposure” during its original run from 1990 to 1995.
