You know, if a Hollywood studio thinks it’s a good idea to make a film based on the Rubik’s Cube, then who are we to tell them that a board game is off-limits? And if you have the creator of “House of Cards,” then there’s no reason that a TV series based on “Risk” can’t work.

According to Deadline, eOne has teamed with Hasbro on a new TV series based on the board game, “Risk.” And the studios have hired Beau Willimon to act as an executive producer and writer for the series.

The focus here is on WikiLeaks-founder Julian Assange, who’s made it his life’s work to create a portal dedicated to the democratic ideal of free speech and free knowledge.
