And the DCU can’t be a middling, clunky, and visually uninspired as the DCEU right? Well, let’s wait and see on that, considering audiences must wait until July 11, 2025 for Gunn’s “Superman: Legacy.”

The 1963 Wynne trial, in which Greville Wynne was indicted for spying on Soviet Russia, is an event absolutely ripe for cinematic adaptation. Held in a bunker in Moscow, the accused Wynne spent two years behind bars, in cells where there was no sunlight, heating, or plumbing. It’s here that director Dominick Cooke and co-writer Tom O’ Connor find inspiration for the Cold War thriller “The Courier.” The feature follows the life, times, and crimes leading up to his arrest, and the courage Wynne showed as an Everyman in an every-man-for-himself situation.

Despite winning an Emmy, a SAG Award, and two Golden Globes for her performance in the streaming blockbuster series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” it’s taken Rachel Brosnahan three years to finally topline a feature film. This was partially due to “Maisel’s” lengthy production schedule, but considering her busy film career before the Amazon series hit, it’s still slightly eyebrow-raising. No matter though, Brosnahan won’t have to play second fiddle for the foreseeable future after her impressive turn in Julia Hart’s directorial effort, “I’m Your Woman.”

This December, Midge Maisel is hitting the road. And we’re all invited. Critical darling “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” has dropped the newest trailer for its upcoming third season.

Season 2 of the beloved Amazon show saw 1950s housewife-turned comedian Midge Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) accept a gig as the opening act on a musician’s tour, all while her love life is up in shambles. Variety reported the brief season three synopsis that show creator Amy Sherman-Palladino teased: “[Midge’s] journey this year that we’ve set out for her is the first time she’s setting out as a road comic, it’s the first time she’s getting paid for this, it’s the first time she’s going to have consistency, and she’s dealing with audiences that aren’t her people.”
