“Yellowstone” may be ending with Season 5B this November, but its saga is just beginning.  And according to TVLine, creator Taylor Sheridan may have his leading cast for his latest spinoff, now tentatively titled “The Madison.” So who’s in talks to star in this iteration? Surprisingly, not Matthew McConaughey, who’s been circling a spinoff for over a year now.  Instead, it’s Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell and “Suits” actor Patrick J.

Stop the speculation: Kevin Costner‘s time on “Yellowstone” is over. Deadline reports that the actor took to social media to confirm he won’t appear in the final six episodes of Taylor Sheridan‘s hit Paramount Network series.  Costner’s news comes on the heels of the network announcing the premiere date for “Yellowstone” Season 5 Part Two, November 10, with a new teaser yesterday.

It’s the end of an acrimonious period between Costner and Sheridan, which saw, amongst other things, Costner threatening legal action against the “Yellowstone” creator but also expressing interest in returning for another season.

Who knows what’s in store for “Yellowstone” after this story breaks? IndieWire (via The Independent) reports that series star Kevin Costner denies that he wanted to exit Taylor Sheridan‘s hit Paramount series. Instead, alleges the actor, he “did negotiate” to return for three more seasons of the show, but left due to scheduling conflicts. Those conflicts eventually led to Sheridan and Paramount announcing the fifth season will be the last one of the original series.

Chastain will play Wynette in the upcoming streaming series, which will debut exclusively on Spectrum’s platform for nine months before heading to on ViacomCBS’ forthcoming streaming service and Paramount Network.

Ron Howard has run far, far away from the “Star Wars” universe for his next project. Fresh off the disappointing box office run of “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” the filmmaker is trying something completely different – a dark comedy TV pilot.

According to Deadline, Howard has signed a deal with the Paramount Network to direct the pilot for “68 Whiskey.” The series is an adaptation of the Israeli series “Charlie Golf One,” which follows a multicultural mix of Army medics, who are stationed at “The Orphanage,” a base in Afghanistan.
