It’s not uncommon, at this point, for any month of the year to be filled with bits and pieces of the television spectrum that don’t align with the traditional network scheduling. However, to see a show such as the Alex Garland created “Devs” up against something like “Better Things” or the return of mega-hit “Westworld” with comeback kid “One Day at a Time” truly demonstrates the wide expanse of storytelling currently at our fingertips.

The company most recently did this with “Designated Survivor” and “Lucifer.” However, with “One Day at a Time,” the tables were turned and Netflix became the bad guy.

The rest of the month presents similarly odd choices, both new and old, from classic sitcom formats that are refreshingly modernized to a mockumentary with a heart and Steve Buscemi playing God – naturally.

The complete truth is he ran into Moreno at a political fundraiser and mentioned he had a project for her.
