Variety has reported that Apple TV+ has scored action-thriller “Echo 3” TV series from Oscar-winner Mark Boal, writer of 2010’s “The Hurt Locker.” The 10-episode series is based on Israeli series “When Heroes Fly,” which is based on a novel of the same name by Amir Gutfreund. As Boal was also nominated for his work on “Zero Dark Thirty,” it’s no surprise to learn that “Echo 3” will be a war-based show as well.
