How does romance survive in an increasingly chaotic world? The interconnected stories of  “Love, Weddings & Other Disasters” examine the question with differing results. Led by a star-studded lineup, the Dennis Dugan project uses a roadmap laid out by previous titles like the ubiquitous Christmas classic “Love Actually.” In the process, it packs in as many possibilities as it can during a short ninety-minute runtime.

Let me be the first to congratulate you all.

Finally, after all these years of Hollywood titans doing nothing but good, nice things to those who surround them, we have been deemed collectively worthy of a movie with the thought-provoking, yet completely asinine title “The Hurricane Heist.”

Let’s break this down a minute, shall we? Is “The Hurricane Heist” about people who A) steal actual hurricanes, B) decide to pull off their “one last job” during a hurricane, C) perform their elaborate heists with the strength, speed, and veracity of a hurricane, or perhaps something even more delightfully tangential to hurricanes than those ideas (all of which I have already copyrighted, so don’t go getting any smart ideas, Hollywood titans.) Disappointingly, the film seems not to be about the hurricane-thieves at all, rather those good Samaritans who oppose them.

“The Terminator” franchise will be moving on, but it won’t involve Arnold Schwarzenegger, which leaves plenty of time for the former Governator to get in Twitter fights with Donald Trump, or try his hand with dramatic fare, as he does with “Aftermath.” The new movie intriguingly boasts Darren Aronofsky as a producer, and it certainly presents a side of Arnie we don’t see that often on the big screen.

Well, here’s a combination of names we never thought we’d see: Arnold Schwarzenegger starring in a movie produced by Darren Aronofsky, with a script by “Enemy” screenwriter Javier Gullón. That’s a helluva combo and already our eyebrows are raised for “Aftermath.”
