So far, while not everyone agrees with whether or not “The Mandalorian” is a great show (especially in this era of Peak TV), it has been a blast watching brand-new live-action “Star Wars” content delivered each and every week. It isn’t a stretch to call Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow the matriarch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She’s been a franchise mainstay since 2008’s MCU-launching “Iron Man.” It’s for that reason that we may have to give her the benefit of the doubt for the confusion she shows in a hilarious clip going viral this weekend, in which “Iron Man” director Jon Favreau reminds her of a brief role she clearly forgot she had in 2017’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

In the amusing clip from the Favreau-co-hosted “The Chef Show,” the two are preparing a dish when the actor-director discusses the show’s origins, saying they brought a crew along while the two shot “Homecoming” in Atlanta.

Disney and Lucasfilm have unveiled the first look at “The Mandalorian” the “Star Wars” live-action series that will air on the as-of-yet-untitled streaming service of the megacorporation.

Earlier today, director/actor Jon Favreau, the series creator and brainchild, revealed the title of the show and details. Named after a race of people in the “Star Wars” universe—the same race bounty hunter Boba Fett belongs to—“The Mandalorian” is set somewhere with the thirty years between “Return Of The Jedi” and “The Force Awakens.” It will be the first “Star Wars” property that lives within that period, not including comics and books.

As we wrote last time, Ghostface Killah actually named an album after his favorite comic book character Iron Man (one of Ghost’s aliases is Tony Stark – the super hero’s alter-ego) so he was pissed when he wasn’t initially invited to appear in the movie.
