If there was ever a guy who could fill up a feature length documentary solely based on the merit of his amusingly abrasive-yet-goofy personality, it’d be David Yow. Instead, you can now watch a short twelve minute documentary profiling the frontman of the recently reunited noise rock band The Jesus Lizard and their ’80s precursor Scratch Acid. Though you won’t be able to experience one of Yow’s shirtless sweaty stagedives from the video, it’s still an enjoyable little watch.

A recent Time Out New York profile of ex-Jesus Lizard singer David Yow is meant to note the disappeared howler/schlong displaying enthusiast’s return to the skronky noise-rock world with the band Qui.

However, right off the bat it yields this interesting film-related tidbit: Apparently Yow’s gone Sundance.
