As expected, “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” easily topped the box office chart this weekend. However, as expected, the film did so while simultaneously posting the worst domestic opening for a Wizarding World film (which includes the hugely popular ‘Harry Potter’ franchise). So, while the news is good for Warner Bros., there is a slight cause for alarm.

It’s rare that a film can debut with a $62.2 million domestic box office total and be deemed a bit of a disappointment.

For all the comedy lovers out there, Sean Anders’ newest movie is one to watch out for this fall. Director of “We’re the Millers” and “That’s My Boy,” Anders brings his laugh-out-loud sense of humor to the box office again with his most recent film “Instant Family.”

Even better, Anders is teaming up once more with Mark Wahlberg, the star of his hit movie “Daddy’s Home.” The knockout comedy blew up in the box office, prompting the studio to greenlight “Daddy’s Home 2,” the Christmas-themed sequel with even more stars studding the cast.
