But cut to six years after #MeToo started, and we’re in a space where <strong>Johnny Depp</strong>—who was the subject of a deeply damaging <em>Rolling Stone</em> article about his questionable behavior that <em>he</em> himself agreed to smooth over his reputation, but basically did the opposite— is the hero and <strong>Amber Heard</strong> is somehow a villain and pariah after losing the defamation trial against her ex-husband for his various abuses.</p>
