Just because Marvel Studios is working on some high-profile limited TV series for Disney+, it doesn’t mean that Marvel TV (corporate sibling to Feige’s studio) is just going to stop working on new projects. And the proof of that comes from The Wrap, who says that Marvel TV is now developing two new live-action series for Hulu based on the characters Hellstrom and Ghost Rider.

The report says that “Ghost Rider” will focus on Robbie Reyes, the character that was recently seen in a storyline on ABC’s “Agents of SHIELD,” who is imbued with the Spirit of Vengeance and protects people by turning into a flaming skull guy with a cool ride.

Spider-Man wasn’t the first Marvel property that Sony messed up. While it’s certainly the most notable, way back in 2013, the studio lost the rights to Ghost Rider, with the character reverting back to Marvel, along with Blade and Punisher. This was after two movies — 2007’s sorta decent “Ghost Rider” and 2011’s widely dismissed “Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance” — featuring Nicolas Cage as the title character, with the property pretty much stalling out after the second flick.
