Given that Joe Exotic was resentenced to 21 years in prison last Friday for the failed murder-for-hire plot targeting animal rights activist Carole Baskin, according to the New York Times, the timing of a new “Joe Vs. Carole” trailer is pretty perfectly timed. To back up slightly, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably know the story of the Netflix phenomenon, “Tiger King,” a docu-series that took pop culture by storm during the pandemic, centering on the story of exotic animal lover Joe Exotic and the animal rights activist Carole Baskin that he butts heads with.
