While it seemed like huge news at the time, the cancellation of SXSW was just a precursor of what was to come with coronavirus. The festival, which would have begun this past weekend, was set to premiere a ton of new films and would have provided a ton of discussion for film fans interested in what new projects they should keep an eye on. But sadly, with no festival, many of those projects just won’t get the buzz they deserved.
