It’s been a long road for Dredd. Back in 2017 it was announced that a TV show based on the comicbook character, titled “Mega-City One” was in the works. Things have been pretty quiet since then, but we now have a big update courtesy of Jason Kingsley, CEO of comics publisher Rebellion (who holds the rights to the character). According to Kingsley, the show is already written and ready to go, but the ongoing pandemic put a hold on things.

As much as critics like to give directors credit for every creative decision that happens on set, we also love an excellent director controversy, too.
