Yes, Netflix is home to Adam Sandler, buzzworthy TV shows, and big name documentaries, but the streaming service is also becoming a fertile ground for indies. And they’re bringing “Deidra & Laney Rob A Train” to Sundance this week where they hope to stir up some buzz before the film goes global this spring.

Directed by Sydney Freeland, and starring Ashleigh Murray, Rachel Crow, Tim Blake Nelson, David Sullivan, Danielle Nicolet, and Sasheer Zamata, the story follows a high school senior who is forced to go to extreme lengths to make ends meet when her single Mom gets thrown in jail.
