Maybe it’s the mainstream acceptance of pot in films like “Pineapple Express,” and “Smiley Face” (though no one saw that), but either way, the duo of Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong will mount their first comedy tour in 25 years (!).

Marin, always the hold out of the group, who wanted to disassociated himself from the stoner characters in the ’90s, told AP Radio that he and Chong, “looked at each [and said], `If we’re ever going to do something it has to be now because you’re not getting any younger and neither am I.'”

In an almost total about face on his stance towards pot humor in recent years, Marin is now totally ready to get high one more time.
