Magnolia Pictures To Distribute Andrew Jarecki’s Long-Delayed ‘All Good Things’ Starring Ryan Gosling & Kirsten Dunst For A December Release

Andrew Jarecki’s long-delayed mystery romantic thriller “All Good Things” has finally found a home.

According to the LA Times, Magnolia Pictures has acquired the film for U.S. distribution, something Movieline spotted earlier this year when a profile on L.A.’s Laemmle Theatre website prematurely listed “All Good Things” as a Magnolia film in July, tipping its hat to the behind the scenes negotiating. According to the LAT, this is a one-off screening and was not meant to be caught by the public (if the film was shown first internationally it could have been disqualified).

Reading our Best of the Decade film lists, you’ve been asking us, “uhh, where in the hell are all the documentaries?”

Well, we didn’t want to ghettoize them in a lesser category, but we did want to give them their full due, so therefore here we are. This list is slightly different than our best of Decade list and tends to favor our favorite documentaries, rather than the ones we think are definitively the best, though we endorse every single doc here as well (perhaps a few in our last spots could be switched out for some of our honorable mention if we really thought about it; “To Be And To Have,” “49 Up” and “Lake Of Fire” being three docs we really admire).

If you’re any kind of moviegoer, you probably know and love Andrew Jarecki’s chilling Academy Award-nominated documentary, “Capturing The Freidmans” about an upper-middleclass Jewish family in New York whose world was instantly transformed in the 1980s when the father and his youngest son are arrested and charged with shocking crimes of child molestation (the doc was originally scheduled to be about one of the family member’s clown career, but Jarecki’s investigation soon led to something much bigger and he switched focus).
