Marina Zenovich To Make Documentary Based On ‘Pictures At A Revolution’

Documentary filmmaker Marina Zenovich, who is best known for her now-controversial 2008 film, “Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired,” is set to direct a feature documentary based on the 2008 Mark Harris book “Pictures at a Revolution: Five Movies and the Birth of the New Hollywood.”

“Pictures” looks back nostalgically at the inception period of the so-called second golden age of Hollywood and chronicles the production and release of the five best picture nominees for the 1967 Oscar: “Bonnie and Clyde,” “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner,” “In the Heat of the Night,” “The Graduate” and “Dr.

R.I.P. Ground-Breaking Editor Dede Allen (1923-2010)

Sad news broke over the weekend, with the announcement of the death of legendary film editor Dede Allen, who passed away on Saturday at the age of 86. Allen was a three-time Oscar nominee, who was also the first editor to receive solo credit on an American film, for her game-changing work on 1967’s “Bonnie and Clyde,” and was instrumental in many of the great films of 1960s and 1970s American cinema.

Allen was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in December 1923, and moved to Hollywood in the early 1940s to take a job as a messenger for Columbia Pictures.

The Apocalypse Is Nigh: Hilary Duff To Star In ‘Bonnie And Clyde’ Remake?

What’s wrong with this picture? Maybe the fact that fucking Hilary Duff and this nobody Kevin Zegers are supposed to star in a remake of Arthur Penn’s 1967 classic, “Bonnie & Clyde.”

According to the Hollywood Reporter, this heresy, this impending sign of the apocalypse is true. Or at least both of these two jokers are in negotiations to play the roles.

Look, do what you have to do, Hollywood, but fucking call it something else.
